My two cents about this lovely photo and Ku's interpretation : We should treat Love like glass or lamp, if the intentions of loving is true it will be very clear, we should handle it with so much care to avoid it from being broken. If love gets shattered or broken into pieces we can never put it back again.

Easter is the Sunday that celebrates the resurrection of Christ, and is one of the most holy days in the calendar of Christian churches. The Easter message is one of hope and victory over death, for it recalls that Christ rose from the dead on the third day after his crucifixion. Easter symbolizes the love of God and the promise that man's soul is immortal.

In many languages, the name for Easter comes from the Hebrew word "pesah", or passover; in fact, Easter was first associated with the Hebrew festival of the Passover, which falls in the spring. Easter was celebrated at different times by the early Christian churches until 325 A.D., when the Council of Nicaea fixed the day as the first Sunday after the first full moon after March 21. This always places Easter sometime between March 22 and April 25. It is believed that the council probably set the date of Easter to fall near the time of a full moon so that pilgrims journeying to worship a shrine might have moonlight to help them find their way.

Many of the current Easter customs probably had their beginnings in the pagan celebrations of the rebirth of the earth in the spring. The English word for Easter is from the name of a Teutonic goddess of spring or the dawn. The Easter egg is a symbol of new life. People dress in new clothes and wear flowers on Easter Sunday because the winter has come to an end, and the earth seems alive again.

THE COLORS OF FRIENDSHIP

Once upon a time the colors of the world started to quarrel.
All claimed that they were the best.
The most important.
The most useful.
The favorite.

Green said:
"Clearly I am the most important. I am the sign of life and of hope. I was chosen for grass, trees and leaves. Without me, all animals would die. Look over the countryside and you will see that I am in the majority."

Blue interrupted:
"You only think about the earth, but consider the sky and the sea. It is the water that is the basis of life and drawn up by the clouds from the deep sea. The sky gives space and peace and serenity. Without my peace, you would all be nothing."

Yellow chuckled:

Use Empowering Words When You Talk to Yourself
(whether you are speaking out loud or silently)

How do you talk to yourself?

Do you use the words "can't", "won't", "don't need to", "why try"?
Many people do.

Do you find that what you say to yourself turns out to be true?

Why is this?

You see your brain is like a computer that you feed each day. It doesn't know always know what's real or not unless you tell it.

Example: If someone you love has hurt you, you may tell yourself that all people who love you will probably hurt you too.

Your brain just files this information for reference, it's data, little zeroes and ones and no column that asks "true or not true?" Now your brain thinks, based on what you told it, that everyone you'll ever love will hurt you.

How do you think you will respond the next time you get hurt?

Right!!

Now, what if we instead told our brain:

"Okay this person ripped my heart out - but that's only one person. I'm lovable and have many loving people in my life who are not out to hurt me. I know that the right people are coming into my life all the time. If someone hurts me, I will forgive them and bless them on their way."

Words can be empowering.

I can

I love to

I want to

I will

I must

I am

We can reach a new level of living, if we feed ourselves empowering words and practice saying them until they become a habit.

I know first hand that it takes time.

And I also know that it's worth it.

Try it for a week.

Catch yourself saying, "I can't", when you don't really mean it and instead try, "I can", and see how you think and feel about yourself.

Remember, the words you use to empower yourself will have a lasting effect, only if you practice them and they become a habit (an acquired behavior pattern regularly followed until it has become almost involuntary).

They say it takes at least 28 days to develop a habit. After a week, you will see that it becomes easier. It's a mindset and you can control your thoughts. Be proactive and not reactive - give yourself some good words.

Dream big and empower yourself! Believe you can and you will.

Lunar new year is not only celebrated inChina, but Korea do also. Lunar New Year or Korea new year is calledSeollal (설날) or Sol-Nal. Seollal is the first day of the Korean lunarcalendar. It is the most important of the traditional Korean holidays.

Korean Seollal Tradition

Seollal is a major holidays on Korea. On that Seollal day, Korean`swear their traditional costume (Hanbok), have ancestor-memorialservices, and bow to their elders and wish each other Happy New Years.Followed by eating traditional Korean dishes such as ddeokguk andplaying games.

Koreans start the New Year by eating “rice-soup” in the morning as acelebration of “getting a year older” and make a big bow to elders asan expression of respect. Elders grant money called “Sae-Bae Don” as areturn to the big bow

On the morning of Sol-nal, everyone dresses in specially prepared,traditional clothes (usually new and fresh). Generally, these clothesare decorated with five colors. They are called Sol-bim.

Early in the morning, every family gathers at their eldest malemember’s home to perform Cha-rye, ancestral memorial rites. Bowls ofTtok-kuk are served. This is a soup of thinly, sliced white rice cake,boiled in a thick beef broth topped with bright garnishes and greenonions.

Ttok-kuk means “adding age.” People believe if they have a bowl ofthis soup, they will become one year older. Koreans traditionally addone to their age, not after their birthdays but after Sol-nal.

After the big, very special breakfast, the younger people bow to thetheir elders, wishing them health and long life, good luck, andprosperity through the whole year. This bowing is called Se-bae or Jol.

February 7, 2010 - After Hearing Mass At UST Church.. I Decided To Drive Around The Metro.. In My Mind Is A Cup Of Hot Cafe Americano and A Bacon & Egg Sandwich For Breakfast.. Hhhmmm... I Ended Up In SM Mall Of Asia.. I Parked My Handsome Car Named Shaider.. hahaha.. Brought My Reliable Samsung Laptop.. My Korean-English Dictionary and My Korean Notebook.. Went Straight Ahead To One Of The Starbucks Cafe.. There Are 2 Starbucks Cafe Inside The Mall Of Asia.. Since I Need An Outlet To Plug My Laptop So I Decided To Stay In The Starbucks Which Is Located At The Main Mall.. So There.. Fulfilling My Craving.. I Ordered One Tall Cafe Americano And Requested The Barista To Placed It On My Own Starbucks Tumbler.. Ordered A Bacon & Egg Bagel Sandwich.. After Which, I Choose A Nice And Cozy Spot Inside The Cafe Since It's Just Me, Myself & My Laptop.. Haha.. After Setting Up My Laptop And Opening My Mozilla Browser And The Applications I Needed <Yes, I Immediately Updated My Status In Facebook.. haha> I Started Chatting With Yeo Dong Saeng In Skype.. She Accompanied Me All Through Out My Stay In Starbucks.. <On The Side, Once In Awhile Exchanging Messages To Another Oppa Named Ku And A Chinggu Named Aaron And Unni Named Grace> Also Glancing In My Korean-English Dictionary To Learn Some Words..
